I am a teacher trainer and senior lecturer at the Department of English Language Pedagogy of Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. I offer lectures and seminars in language teaching methodology, intercultural communication and cooperative learning in the BA, MA and PhD programs of the university. I have also worked as a researcher, materials writer and trainer in the Pestalozzi Programme and the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe, the European Wergeland Centre and various Comenius and Erasmus projects. My publications include books and research articles on language teaching and teacher education with a special focus on online tools and ways to bring about change in teachers’ beliefs and practices, especially in the field of education for democracy and intercultural competence development. I have established a local community of practice for the professional development of teachers in Budapest and have been coordinating and facilitating workshops for teachers of all subject areas and all age groups on a voluntary basis for three years now. My style is inclusive, reflective and dedicated!

Learn to Change’s members held a General Assembly in fall 2022, in which the decision was taken to transform the association into a less formal, and more agile entity. Therefore, we will change status, going from an ‘organization’ to a less formal entity that we name “The collective”
