I am a Professor at the School of Education in Lisbon. Currently, and since 2005, I work in the area of Education and in teacher training. One of my particular interests is to contribute to increase opportunities for learning for students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and economic backgrounds in today’s schools and educational contexts. In my research and consultant work I focused on this topic in articulation with the professional development of teachers. I have an international experience both as researcher and as a trainer (Europe and Canada).

My style is dedicated, kind and organized.
