Teaching Online During the COVID-19 Pandemic

L2C proposes a free webinar hosted by Pascale Mompoint-Gaillard with guest speakers Audrey Cheynut and  Ildikó Lázár on Friday 20 March between 18:00 and 19:15 CET.

In the context of the COVID 19 pandemic, we are confronted with the progressive closure of schools in many countries, which is particularly challenging for teachers, pupils and families.

Teachers have a strong mission, because of their essential role to offer continuity in education in a dramatic moment for human society. New forms of meaningful learning paths must be found, to maintain the precious pedagogical relationship supporting pupils’ growth.

Distance-teaching presents new professional reflections owing to specific problems: which tool is most adapted to learners’ needs? How to introduce students to this new way of learning? How to share and cooperate with colleagues and families? How to ensure equity and help students who have no computer at home or Internet access?

This webinar will start this reflection and offer some paths towards teaching and learning practices that are adapted to each case.

Let’s learn together how to teach in the COVID19 era!
