I am a teacher at Winterhude Reformschule in Hamburg, Germany where I teach Spanish and Social Sciences. I have been involved in education since 1996. I am also a freelance trainer and a mentor.
I started my work life at the age of 24, co-founding a school of Spanish for non-native speakers in Madrid. I then held various positions in Spain, my home country, before moving to Germany in 2010. In Spain I worked as a consultant for educational and cultural institutions on a national level. I was quality consultant for the Instituto Cervantes and for Online Communication for the Spanish Trade Institute. I was also teaching at the Diplomatic School in Madrid. I have written a number of research papers for Real Instituto Elcano of International Relations and I was a member of the Public Diplomacy Group of this same institute.
I have studied Philology, Tourism Management, International Relations and Economy in Spain and Germany. I have also followed some lectures and seminars in Law and Audiovisual Communication.
In 2013, I discovered the Pestalozzi Programme of the Council of Europe. This changed my practice as a teacher and as a person. Starting as a participant, I have been actively involved in the online community of practice and as a trainer, an online facilitator and a participant. The themes I have focused on include: Strengthening Education for Democracy, Participation and Conscious Communication.
I am here because I believe that the changes we all want to see in the world will come through our own actions, through education, through each and every one of us. As an education professional and as a person who cares I cannot not do anything.
My style is creative, intensive and empathic, team-oriented and fun.
In this article we answer some questions regarding the decision to transform Learn to Change from an association to a collective.
In this article, we talk about what we mean by Collective – the new form chosen by L2C – and how you can join it.
Learn to Change’s members held a General Assembly in fall 2022, in which the decision was taken to transform the association into a less formal, and more agile entity. Therefore, we will change status, going from an ‘organization’ to a less formal entity that we name “The collective”
If you feel you are committed to the vision and mission of the association, then your place is here.
We are sure that becoming a member will benefit you in many ways. Read the product description for more details or click sign up now.
